A "slide slam" is what our treasurer, Bob Machesney, calls a party where people bring their slides to show. Members are asked to bring their favorite nature slides, particularly of birds. You need not be an expert photographer. If you like your slides, the rest of us might like them too.

The meeting will be held at the Frick Park Nature Center, opposite 1960 Beechwood Blvd., in Pittsburgh’s Squirrel Hill section. Doors will open at 7 p.m. for socializing, and the meeting will begin at 7:30.
