Nature Observer News Celebrates its 10th Year

The staff of the Nature Observer News is pleased to announce that we have begun our 10th year of publishing information on the natural history of western Pennsylvania. The topics include up-to-the-minute views and observable events that take place naturally in our own backyards.

The Nature Observer is a record of the changing seasons, the story of the plants and animals that must cope with the changes, and a chronicle of the constant changes in our natural world. It is also a calendar of events, listing the many fine natural history programs in our area. Each issue features articles that describe the seasonal "wild" events and offer suggestions on how you can observe and participate in the ongoing natural phenomena. We include information from every aspect of natural history.

The Nature Observer News continues to provide a Calendar of Events to our subscribers. The Calendar listings are free to the various nature centers in western Pennsylvania.

In nine short years, we have grown from a 4-page newsletter to a 16-page publication.
