Join the Audubon Society of Western PA for a day of free nature programs and activities!

8:00 am

Bird Hike lead by Jack Solomon

10:00 am

Fern Hike lead by Janet Rimmel -- once cut, twice cut, thrice cut -- learn how to identify many of the ferns on Todd.

The Hidden mysteries of Todd Sanctuary lead by Graham Bier -- enjoy discovering some of the hidden treasures of Todd.

Lunch

Bring your own picnic lunch!

Children’s Story Time and Activity lead by Becca Rimmel

2:00 pm

Stream Safari lead by Charles Bier -- a leisurely afternoon walk about the sanctuary.

Todd Walkabout lead by Becca Rimmel- explore a stretch of Watson’s Run, wear your creeking shoes!

5:00 pm

Campfire Dinner -- Bring you’re own food to cook over a campfire

7:00 pm

Directions to Todd Sanctuary: From Pittsburgh, take Rt. 28 north to exit 17 and continue north on Rt. 356 for 0.8 miles. At the traffic light turn right onto Monroe Road across from Cinema 356. Follow Monroe Road for 1.2 miles to a fork in the road, and bear right onto Kepple Road past Buffalo Golf Course. After 1.8 miles, the sanctuary is marked by a sign on the right. Park in the lot to the right.
