3RBC Needs Ambassadors
Annually, we get requests, like the one that follows, from organizations that want us to set up a 3RBC information table at a fair, or lead a walk at a location where we normally wouldn't.
If you're willing to spend 3 -4 hours or so answering questions about the club, and birding, generally, please let Jack Solomon (412 521 3365) know. We can provide a table and a 3RBC logo table cover, a canopy (where necessary), some brochures and old newsletters. You would need some time, a field guide, and any props you wanted to bring, for the table-sitting. For the bird walks, you'd need to be able to ID birds for people who are usually beginners.
