National Aviary Serves Lunch on the Fly

The National Aviary will be serving 'Lunch on the Fly' Saturday, July 15, 2006. Spend a Saturday afternoon with the birds and staff of the National Aviary. Enjoy lunch while learning about the amazing adaptations of various bird species. Meet feathered friends up close, then take a guided tour of the National Aviary. Following the tour, take a seat in the Rose Garden for Wings of the World, an outdoor free-flight bird show featuring 20 rare and endangered birds from around the world. From a West African Crowned Crane with a five-foot wing span, to a magnificent Eurasian Eagle Owl, to startlingly beautiful Scarlet Macaws and a clever Pied Crow, the cast of Wings of the World will inspire and delight audiences of all ages.
