Ralph Bell Bird Club Forms in Greene County

The officers of the new, Ralph Bell Bird Club, that is forming in Greene County decided to wait until January 2007 to get together and make some decisions. RBBC President Marjorie Howard birdwatcher@alltel.net will let us know when they have some definite plans.

Marjory says the following is the mission statement for the newly formed club:

"This bird club is being founded to provide opportunity toward a better understanding and appreciation of avian life and environment, just as our mentor, teacher, conservationist, citizen scientist, local ornithologist and beloved friend, Ralph K. Bell has so aptly exhibited by his life example. It is upon this solid foundation and with great appreciation for his guidance and support that we designate this bird club the Ralph K. Bell Bird Club of Greene County, Pennsylvania."
