From 1:00-3:00PM join the Frick Environmental Center and the Nine Mile Run Watershed Association on this walk through Frick Park. We will be joined by local butterfly experts who will teach us all about these beautiful Pittsburgh inhabitants. Call Phil Costanzo at Frick for more information (412) 422-6538. Meet at the Frick Environmental Center Gatehouse.  Note that there is a charge for this walk.

Sunday, July 24 — IBA-80 Buffalo Creek, Washington County

Walt Shaffer will lead this butterfly outing to IBA-80 Buffalo Creek. Meet at the S-Bridge at 10:00AM. Many species of butterflies and dragonflies have been seen in the IBA including Carolina Saddlebags, Citrine Fortail Dragons, Firey Skipper and Milberts Tortoiseshell butterflies!

This is a outing for the whole family. All ages enjoy looking for and catching these colorful creatures! Pack a picnic lunch.
