Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill (2003)

The "Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill" is a very entertaining movie that is attracting people of all ages. It is the true story of the relationship of Marc Bittner with a flock of displaced Cherry-headed Conures (Red-masked Parakeet). The photography is excellent and the scenery beautiful. Every scene of the parrots ia a birders' dream. The movie is about Mark's discovery of the parrots and how it becomes the major focus of his life at that time.

Issues are somewhat romanticized with the conclusion having a few rough edges. All in all it is a beautifully made movie about meeting the needs of a sensitive man and his interaction with a flock of parrots in San Francisco.
