Past 3RBC Membership Meeting - October 8, 2025

Zoom Icon

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we decided to present our bimonthly membership meetings virtually via Zoom. Our first Zoom meeting was in August 2020. As the pandemic eased in 2023, we began hybrid membership meetings in-person at the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania's auditorium at Beechwod Farms and Zoom meetings for those who could not attend. Our first hybrid meeting was April 5, 2023.

We have continued to record our meetings, whether Zoom or hybrid, as a lasting record of the excellent programs we have witnessed. However, loading all the past programs onto one website page has proven too cumbersome, so we have divided the past programs up into single pages for ease of access. This page contains the program from October 8, 2025.

A written account of this meeting will also be available on our Meeting Minutes page.

THE OCTOBER 2025 MEETING FEATURING DAVE BROOKE

Dave Brooke will tell us about Sandhill Cranes and the Bosque del Apache in New Mexico in this video of our October 8, 2025 membership meeting. The Bosque is an area Dave likes to visit every year, when thousands of migrating Sandhill Cranes, Snow Geese, ducks, and other waterfowl gather there in the fall and winter. The vast number of bird species there are his big draw.

The entire video runs 1 hour and 25 minutes in length.

The video is best seen in Full Screen mode. Click the four arrows in the lower right corner.
